Miss Thailand at Miss Universe goes viral, wearing dress made out of Swarovski soda tabs

This past Saturday's Miss Universe pageant brought upon the stage, contestants from all over the world for the National costume segment. All eyes viewing from screens however, were glued to Miss Thailand's sparkly ensemble made with thousands of soda tabs bedazzled by smSwarovski crystals.
Miss Thailand 2022 for the Miss Universe Pageant, Anna Sueangam-iam took to Instagram to impart more information about the now legendary dress under the headline, "My personal Statement to the Universe". The gown was tailor-made by the Thai fashion company Manirat.
She wrote, "This gown was inspired by the familiar surroundings of my childhood. Growing up with garbage collector parents, my life as a child was among piles of garbage and recyclables. This unique gown was purposefully tailored-made with discarded and recycled materials, namely the 'Can Tab' to present to the Universe that what's considered worthless by many actually possesses its own value and beauty".
Asian and Asian American news source NextShark reported that with her father as a garbage collector and her mother a street sweeper, she was bullied by kids in school calling her "Miss Garbage”. Talk about owning your pain.
