From the maker of Netflix's global hit show, Indian Matchmaking Smriti Mundhra, comes a look behind the scenes and behind the characters of Bollywood in The Romantics.
Released on February 14, the series is explanatory enough to hold significance and interest of anyone that has seen the telltale YRF or "Yash Raj Films" emblem blaze across the screen. The symbol that would be hard to miss for any consumer of Bollywood films- no matter how rarely.
The series gives viewers a look at how some of the more legendary films, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge came about, with Yash Chopra's son and current Chairman and Managing Director of Yash Raj Films of Yash Raj films, Aditya Chopra saying that he approached Shah Rukh Khan and told him, "I would just advise you not to shut your doors on never doing a love story. Because in this country, a superstar will only be that person who will be every mother's son, every sister's brother and every college girl's fantasy".
Expect to see the ode to Yash Raj from names Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor.
